The Second Vladimir Krainev International Piano Competition

The Second Vladimir Krainev International Piano Competition is coming to its close at the Moscow International Performing Arts Center. The President of the Jury is the Artistic Director of the Competition pianist Alexander Romanovsky. The other Jury members are Thomas Yaksic Beckdorf (Chile), Lilya Zilberstein (Germany – Austria), Boris Bekhterev (Italy), Vladimir Ovchinnikov, Rena Cherechevskaya (France), Stanislav Ioudenitch (the USA), Aleksandre Moutouzkine (the USA), Igor Tchetuyev (Germany) and Mikhail Khokhlov. The Competition Finals will take place on March 30 and 31 at the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow Performing Arts Center. The finalists of the Junior (March 30) and the Senior (March 31) Groups will play Piano Concertos with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of Alexander Soloviev. The Awards Ceremony and the Gala Concert of the Winners will take place on the 1st of April, Vladimir Krainev's birthday, at the Svetlanov Hall with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia with Vladimir Spivakov on the podium.
