Tatiana Shanina

Шанина Tatiana Shanina was born in Kishinev (Moldova). She graduated from the Moscow State Conservatory (classes of Professor Elizaveta Gilels). Since 1979, she taught at a lyceum and worked as a violinist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1982-1992 she was a member of the State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR Ministry of Culture under Gennady Rozhdestvensky, in 1992-2003 she worked at the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Philharmonic Society. Since 2003 she has been a member of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. She is an “Honored Artist of the Russian Federation”.
