Valery Polivanov

Valery Polivanov was born in 1951 in Odessa. He graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk. The musician worked with many top music collectives of Moscow, including the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Fedoseyev, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the Russian National Orchestra under Mikhail Pletnev. He collaborated with the "Moscow Virtuosi" State Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov, the “Musica Viva” Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Alexander Rudin, the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra by Misha Rakhlevsky.He was awarded the title of "Honored Artist of Russia" and the Order of Friendship.
