Yulia Kalinkina

Калинкина Yulia Kalinkina was born in Slutsk, Minsk Region (Belarus). She graduated with honors from the Ippolitov-Ivanov Moscow Music School (classes of N.I. Ishchenko), then the Moscow State Conservatory (classes of A.B. Korsakov). Since 1983 she worked at the Symphony Orchestra of Cinematography, in 1987 she joined the State Symphony Orchestra of the USSR Ministry of Culture under Gennady Rozhdestvensky. Since 1991 she was a member of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Philharmonic Society, since 2003 she has been a member of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia ( first violins section).
