On October 19-21, 2026, the Tyumen Philharmonia will host concerts of the Vladimir Spivakov Invites… Festival supported by the RF Ministry of Culture within the All-Russia Philharmonic Seasons program. The three days long Festival of Vladimir Spivakov first took place in Tyumen in March 2018: the NPR musicians and the maestro shared then the Philharmonia stage with Timofey Vladimirov, Vladimir Ladyuk and Vadim Eilenkrig.
This year the star of the Festival programs will be again the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. The Festival will open in the Gulyaev Concert Hall on October 19 when the maestro and the orchestra will be joined by pianist Vladimir Vishnevsky, winner of the Vladimir Krainev and S.V. Rachmaninoff competitions and a scholarship holder of the Vladimir Spivakov Charity Foundation.
The Festival will end on October 21 by an opera-gala with the participation of the Bolshoi’s leading soloist Anna Aglatova and tenor Alexey Nekludov, a soloist of the E.V. Kolobov Novaya Opera Theater and a guest artist of The Bolshoi. The programs will feature outstanding works by classical composers — Schubert, Grieg, Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini, Cilea, Massenet and others.
On October, 20, the audience will hear an unusual program devoted to the 100th birthday anniversary of legendary jazz trumpeter Miles Davis — Symphonic Kind of Blue. The initiator and protagonist of the project is trumpeter Vadim Eilenkrig, who decided to present compositions from Davis’ cult album Kind of Blue in a symphonic setting and dedicate it to his idol. It will be followed by Korngold’s Symphonic Suite based on the Sea Hawk movie score played by the NPR and some jazz pieces by Miles Davis and Vadim Eilenkrig. The program will also present well-known jazz men — participants of the Eilenkrig Crew project. The conductor will be Arsenty Tkachenko, the NPR’s Vice Artistic Director.
