Andrei Yarovoy was born in Moscow. He graduated from the Gnessins Russian Music Academy and got assistantship-internship there (Igor Boguslavsky’s classes) and from the Texas Christian University in Fort Worth (TCU) majoring in viola playing.
He won the Chamber Music International Competition in Aguascalientes in Mexico.
In 1993-2000, he had been an artist of The Bolshoi Theater Orchestra and played in The Bolshoi Soloists Ensemble. In 2000-2008, he had been the concertmaster of the viola section in the San Luis Potosi Symphony Orchestra (Mexico). He also worked with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, opera theaters in Dallas and Valencia. As the concertmaster of the viola section performed with the Russian-American Youth Orchestra, the San-Angelo Symphony Orchestra (Texas, USA) and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
He took part in various festivals such as Velia Festival (Italy), Music in the Mountains in Colorado (USA), Besançon (France), Servantino (Mexico).
Since 2012 — an artist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
