Elena Zlobina was born in the town of Kizel (Perm Region). In 1987, she graduated from the College of Arts in Naberezhny Chelny (Igor Lerman’s classes), in 1992 — from the M.I.Glinka Nizhny Novgorod State Conservatory (classes by Lazar Gantman, Semyon Yaroshevich and Yuri Glukhovsky), in 1996 she completed assistantship-internship training in the Gnessins Russian Music Academy (Miroslav Russun’s classes).
She got a diploma of the Palma D'Oro International Competition in Finale Ligure (Italy, 1996).
In 1993-1995 she played in the «Northern Crown» Ensemble, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra (vice concertmaster), in 1995-2000 – in the Russian Philharmonia Moscow Symphony Orchestra (vice concertmaster, then concertmaster of the second violin section). She co-worked with the E.F.Svetlanov Russian State Orchestra and the Russian National Orchestra. In 2000-2003 — the vice concertmaster, then the concertmaster of the second violin section in the State Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra directed by Anatoly Nemudrov.
Since 2003 she is an artist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
