Georgy Grinemayer was born in 2006 in Tula. He was initially educated in the music school at the A.S. Dargomyzhsky Tula Arts College (Roman Khotin's classes) and then at the Gnessins Moscow Special Music School (Kirill Soldatov's classes). At present, he is a student in the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music (Professor Vladimir Pushkarev's classes). He has taken part in the classes by Sergei Nakariakov, Thomas Hammes, Emmanuel Richter and other famous trumpeters; has perfected his playing in the Sirius Center and the New Names Summer Art School in Suzdal under the guidance of Boris Taburetkin.
He is a laureate of the T.A.Dokschitzer Moscow Open Brass Competition (2022), the A.A.Nesterov All-Russia Competition of Woodwind and Percussion Instruments in Nizhny Novgorod (2023), the 8th International Orchestral Music Competition in honor of Adolph Herseth within the Trumpet International Festival in Maspalomas (Spain, 2023), and other contests.
He has taken part in concert programs of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, is a scholarship holder of the I.N.Voronova New Names Foundation and the RF President's grant.
In 2020-2024, he played in the All-Russia Youth Symphony Orchestra directed by Yury Bashmet. As a soloist, he has performed with orchestras of the Tula and Ulyanovsk Philharmonic Societies, the Central Military Orchestra of the Russian Defence Ministry and the Festival Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Shekhtman.
Since 2025 – an artist in the trumpet section of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
