Marina Slutskaya

Marina Slutskaya was born in Moscow. In 1980, she graduated cum laude from the Gnessins Moscow Grammar Special Music School (Vladimir Rabey’s classes) and then, also with distinction, from the Gnessins State Music Pedagogical College (at present the Russian Music Academy) in Grigory Zhislin’s violin classes and Valentin Berlinsky’s quartet classes. 

She worked in the Moscow Chamber Music Orchestra (Rosconcert Moscow Chamber Orchestra), in 1990-2003 she had been s member of the Russian National Orchestra directed by Mikhail Pletnev. She performed in chamber programs, was the soloist of the Orpharion Ensemble directed by Oleg Khudyakov. 

Since 2003 — an artist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
