Maxim Votintsev was born in 1996 in Nizhny Novgorod. In 2016, he graduated from the Academic Music College at the Moscow Conservatory (Vladimir Ivanov’s classes), and in 2021 - from the P.I.Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (Professor Vladimir Ivanov’s violin classes and Associate Professor Anna Yanchishina’s classes of chamber ensemble and quartet).
He has won awards at several international competitions. Among others as a member of the Moscow Conservatory String Quartet became a laureate of the M.K.Oginsky Chamber Ensemble in Smorgon (Belarus, 2015).
He has taken part in various Russian and foreign festivals, playing in ensembles or as a soloist with the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Mstislav Rostropovich Nizhny-Novgorod Philharmonia and other collectives.
