Nadezhda Mazur was born in Moscow and got her musical education first in the V. Shebalin Children Music School (Elvira Simonova's classes) where she played in a violin ensemble, which got a scholarship from the New Names Foundation and was a laureate of the Moscow Meets Friends Festival. Later she was trained in the Summer School in Jurmala (2005) and in the Purcell School in London (2006) with Marina Kesselman.
In 2013, she graduated from the Academic Music College at the Moscow Conservatory (Olga Bulgakova's viola classes) and the preparatory courses at the Maastricht Conservatory in Netherlands (Mikhail Kugel's classes) and in 2018 from the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory with distinction (Professor Alexander Bobrovsky's classes). During her studies, she took part in several projects such as Tavrida Forum and others.
An awardee of the Musica del Mar festival in Spain (2017, First Prize) and of the All-Russia Competition of Orchestral Musicians in Moscow (2019, 3rd Prize). A member and co-founder of the BACH- quartet that became the winner of the 4th All-Russia Musical Competition in Ufa (2023).
In 2028-2020, she was the second concertmaster of the viola section in the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra. Since 2020 – a member of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
