Olga Krylova was born in Troitsk (Chelyabinsk Region). In 1995, she graduated with distinction from the Special Music School-Lyceum at the M.P.Mussorgsky at the Ural State Conservatory (Edmund Miller's classes) and then in 2002 from the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory followed by assistantship-internship there (Professor Galina Vakhrameeva/Odinets' classes).
In 1993-1995, she played in the Youth Chamber Orchestra of the Foreign Economic Trade and Industrial Company in Ekaterinburg, and in1999-2001 – in the Dubna Symphony Orchestra.
In 2001 after a competition-audition for the “Philharmonia of Nations” international orchestra led by Justus Frantz she was awarded a stipend and took part in the Orchestra's tours.
In 2001-2011, she had been an artist of the E.F.Svetlanov State Orchestra and since 2011 – of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
