Roman Dobrogorsky

Roman Dobrogorsky was born in 1991 in Sterlitamak (Bashkortostan). He started to learn music when he was six at Children Music School No.2 (Svetlana Nagornaya's classes) in Sterlitamak. In 2001, he entered the Special Music School at the Zagir Ibragimov Ufa State Arts Institute (Mark Afanasyev's classes).

In 2014, he graduated with distinction from the Gnessins Russian Music Academy (Professor Elena Zhuleva’s classes). He has got awards at several international competitions.

In 2008-2012, he took part in the sessions of the Povolzhye Youth Symphony Orchestra. In 2014-2024, he had been a member of the Moscow Philharmonia Academic Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Yury Simonov. Since 2024, he is an artist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia. He is a participant of the NPR's cello ensemble. He performs with various collectives such as Mozart for Kids aimed at the popularization of classical music among children from their birth.
