Sergey Belozertsev was born in Minsk in 1989. In 2008 he graduated from the Republican Music College at the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk (classes of Henri Yanpolsky), and then, graduating with honors from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (classes of Professor Sergey Girshenko), continued there his post-graduate studies.
He is the winner of the 7th International M. G. Erdenko Violin Competition in Belgorod, the prizewinner of the Open All-Russian A. B. Korsakov Competition for Violinists, Viola Players, and Cellists (2nd Prize), the Mikhail Yelsky International Competition in Minsk (3rd Prize), the Andrea Postacchini Violin Competition in Fermo (Italy, 3rd Prize, 2010), the Mario Fillioley International Competition in Syracuse (Italy, 2nd Prize, 2011) and the Eduard Grach International Competition in Dubna (2014), and others.
He took part in the «Moscow Meets Friends» Festival under the auspices of the Vladimir Spivakov Charity Foundation. He was awarded a scholarship and the Grand Prize of the Special Presidential Fund for the Support of Talented Youth in Belarus.
He has performed extensively with the orchestra as a soloist and given solo concerts in Russia and abroad. He has participated in chamber music festivals in France and Italy. He regularly gives concerts and conducts master classes in the CIS countries.
