Arina Tsep was born in Moscow in 1994. She graduated from the Gnessins Music College (Evgenia Stoklitskaya's classes) and then from the P.I. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory in 2019 (Professor Yury Tkanov's classes). She took part in the IRO project (Regions Symphony Orchestra in Germany) as the concertmaster of the viola section. She participated in Mikhail Kugel's masterclasses at the Gnessins Russian Music Academy. As the concertmaster of the viola section of the Moscow Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, she toured in China and Belarus.
She is a laureate of international competitions and in 2021 won the third place in the All-Russia Competition of Orchestral Musicians.
Before joining the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, she had worked with the E.F, Svetlanov State Orchestra, while in 2018-2022 she had played in the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra.
