Andrey Lysenko was born in Moscow in 1954. In 1979 he graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (classes of Professor V. M. Snegirev). He worked with the Symphony Orchestra of the Central Television and All-Union Radio (Conductor - M.Shostakovich), the Symphony Orchestra of the USSR Ministry of Culture (Conductor - G.Rozhdestvensky), the State Symphony Capella of Russia (Conductor - Vladimir Polyansky), the "Russian Philharmonic" Symphony Orchestra of Moscow (Conductor - Alexander Vedernikov), with the Orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic Society (Conductor - Yury Simonov). Since 2003 he has been a member of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia.
