Shamil Saidov was born in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) in 1978. He graduated from the D. Ovezov Ashgabat Music School, then entered the Turkmen National Conservatory. In 2001 he moved to the Gnessins Russian Academy of Music (classes of Professor Yury Yurov). In 2003-2005. he was an assistant in the classes of Professor Yury Yurov, studying at the same time chamber quartet playing in the classes of Professor V.A. Berlinsky.
