The 6th Edition of the Vladimir Krainev Moscow Competition Will End with the Concert of the Winners with the NPR

On April 1, the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow Performing Arts Center will host the gala concert of the winners of the sixth edition of the Vladimir Krainev Piano Competition. The auditions started on March 25 and will end with the awarding ceremony and will traditionally end with the awarding ceremony and a concert of the winners on April 1, Vladimir Krainev's birthday. The young pianists will perform accompanied by the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of Vladimir Spivakov and Ivan Nikiforchin.

The winners of the Discovery Prize (the youngest group) are Olga Azanova (Russia) and Zheheng Lu (China), the Achievement Prize (the middle group) has been given to Maria Varakina (Russia). And the highest award (Grand Prix) in the senior group has been won by Vladimir Vishnevsky (Russia) and Arseny Lanin (Russia).

Vladimir Spivakov and the NPR will perform in Samara and Orenburg

On March 24–27, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under Vladimir Spivakov will give three concerts in Samara and Orenburg. The musicians will be hosted on the stages of the regional philharmonic societies. Two diverse programs have been prepared for the audience. The first of them, with the participation of soloists and the Academic Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing”, includes only one work – Requiem by the contemporary composer from Wales Karl Jenkins. The second program consists of masterpieces by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (see Events).

‘I Love You, Life’ – the musical-patriotic project to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory

The People's Artist of Russia, UNESCO Artist for Peace Vladimir Spivakov, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia and the opera diva of world fame Hibla Gerzmava are dedicating to the 80th anniversary of the Russian people's victory in the Great Patriotic War a unique musical-patriotic project, that is a concert which will be performed many a time in 2025 in various regions of the Russian Federation. The tour route includes iconic places of military glory, including hero cities (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Murmansk).

The nearest performances will take place in Kaluga (March, 7), Nizhny Novgord (March. 9), Murmansk (April, 11), and Severomorsk (April, 12), where the soloist will be Polina Shamayeva.
