Marianna Orloff

Marianna Orloff was born in Moscow to a musicians’ family. She graduated from the Central Music School at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, then the Conservatory itself (classes of Professor Maya Glezarova and Professor Igor Bezrodny) followed by postgraduate study there (Professor Sergei Kravchenko's class).

She is a laureate of an international competition in Italy and some festivals.

As a soloist, she has performed in many cities of Russia as well as in Italy and Germany.

Since 2003, she has been an artist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, being at present the second deputy concertmaster.

She is active in chamber music performances, such as playing in the Bach Hour project by Vladimir Spivakov performed in various Russian towns and many a time abroad. She has also taken part in many charitable concerts of the NPR soloists.
