The artistic alliance of Vladimir Spivakov and Hibla Gerzmava arose many years ago. The singer became a regular participant of the Maestro's concerts, whereas he is a welcome guest at her Festival in Abkhazia. "I am proud of my friendship with Vladimir Spivakov. Every meeting with him is happiness. I am grateful to fate that I can perform with him on the same stage and sing for him," - says the singer.
Today, the leading lady of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theater, People's Artist of Russia Hibla Gerzmava is one of the most sought-after Russian singers on the world opera stage and one of the most fascinating ones in the bel canto repertoire. She has twice won the "Golden Mask" National Theater Award for the title roles in most demanding operas - Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammermoor" and Cherubini's "Medea". In May 2011, Gerzmava performed at her home theater all four heroines of J. Offenbach's opera "Les Contes d'Hoffmann", thus becoming one of the few singers in the history who successfully managed to realize the composer's most elaborate idea.

She has a marvelous voice which is said to be born once in a century, a phenomenal artistic temperament and highest musical culture. Her name in the affiche is a guarantee of a sold-out house in any country. Already in her youth Hibla Gerzmava made her own choice to sing only in first-rate theaters and only the leading roles. And she has been up to her aspirations. She has been applauded at London's Royal Opera House, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, she is admired by opera devotees all over the world, she glitters in the most challenging operatic parts and is crowned with the most honorable awards, among which - the Grand Prix of the Tchaikovsky International Competition. A concert of the Diva at Vladimir Spivakov's Festival will reveal all the facets of this amazing singer's talent.

Alexey Tatarintsev, her partner in the Festival Program, is one of the most agile Russian tenors, a soloist of the E.V. Kolobov "Novaya Opera" Theatre, a frequent guest at the Bolshoi Theatre, the First Prize-winner of the Luciano Pavarotti International Competition (St. Petersburg, Russia), a "Golden Mask" winner in the nomination of "Opera/Male Role" (for the part of Roméo in Gounod's "Roméo et Juliet") and an awardee of the "Onegin" National Opera Prize in the "Stage Master" nomination for his Rodolfo in Puccini's "La bohème". Last summer Alexey Tatarintsev sang with Hibla Gerzmava at her Abkhasian Musical Festival. He has taken part in the NPR's concerts many a time.
