Dmitry Korchak is one of the world's best tenors, having a rich repertoire and singing in the top opera houses of Europe and the USA. He has won the fame of a magnificent performer comparable to the bel canto king Juan Diego Flores. Dmitry's high mastership and versatility attract the attention of most renowned conductors. For many years, Korchak has been one of Vladimir Spivakov’s closest stage partners. As the singer states himself, Spivakov was the first to believe in him as a soloist and later entrusted his orchestra for Korchak's debut as a conductor.

The love of music admirers for Dmitry Korchak started with Nadir's Romance from Bizet's “Pearl Fishers”. His performance of the very popular aria at the concert in memory of E.V. Kolobov in March 2004 became a real sensation. All critics testified that the audience of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory had been absolutely smitten by the 25-year-old singer. However, he had yet to gain the European public. At the very beginning of his dazzling career abroad, Dmitry Korchak “set a goal for himself: to enter Europe not with the Russian repertoire.” And he has coped with the task brilliantly.

Today he is applauded at La Scala and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Paris Opera and the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Vienna State Opera, the Berlin State Opera and the Bavarian Opera, the Zurich Opera House and the Royal Theatre de la Monnai in Brussels, the Los Angeles Opera and the Royal Theatre of Madrid, the Rome Opera House and the San Carlo Theatre in Naples, the Melbourne Opera and the Colon Theatre in Buenos Aires; his sold-out solo performances are held in such prestigious venues as Carnegie Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London.

In Moscow, Dmitry Korchak's solo concerts are quite rare occasions, but now music lovers will have a wonderful opportunity to hear him in famous arias of the tenor repertoire. The program of Dmitry Korchak's concert in the Moscow Performing Arts Centre is striking in its stylistic variety and compiled so as to emphasize the multifacetedness of the singer who is equally at home in Italian bel canto, in lyrical arias of Russian classics, or in the most difficult parts from French operas.
