The Republic of Bashkortostan celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2019. Large-scale festive activities to commemorate the significant date in the history of the Russian federalism are planned to be held not only in the region itself, but also in Moscow.

A gala concert “Born in Bashkortostan” will be given at the Moscow Performing Arts Centre on March 6. Many famous and beloved artists, masters of folk and classical music, from the Republic of Bashkortostan will appear on the stage of the Svetlanov Hall at the MMDM. The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia under the baton of the outstanding violin virtuoso and conductor Vladimir Spivakov will lead the concert which will feature such remarkable singers and instrimentalists as brothers Ildar Abdrazakov and Askar Abdrazakov, Dilara Idrisova, Artur Naziullin, Rustem Khamidullin, Timofey Vladimirov. Robert Yuldashev.

Young violinist María Dueñas, the winner of the Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition in Ufa will also perform as a special guest.

Before the concert, young talents of Bashkortostan, bursars of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation, will demonstrate their achievements in the foyer of the Svetlanov Hall.
