The XII edition of the Moscow Music Festival “Vladimir Spivakov Invites...” will start with a high note: the maestro and his orchestra will be joined by Hibla Gerzmava, the prima donna of the Russian opera stage, People's Artist of Russian Federation. “The heavenly purity and beauty of her voice, each note at its glory, extremely clear diction, endless breath and – soul, soul, soul!” - as the media puts it. The artistic collaboration of Vladimir Spivakov and the renowned singer started many years ago: they have brought to life a great number of bright performances in Russia and abroad, on stage and in recording studios. She was the maestro's choice for the part of Tatiana in the acclaimed recording of Tchaikovsky's opera Eugene Onegin, thus realizing his dream of many years. The diva reciprocated his feelings: “I am proud of my friendship with Vladimir Spivakov. Each encounter with him makes me happy. I am thankful to the fate that I can perform with him and sing for him.”
The program of the artist's concert will cast light on various facets of her talent. Starting as one of the best bel canto singers, she recently has expanded her repertoire by singing most complicated parts for a dramatic soprano, Verdi's operas included. The opportunity “of growing, trying myself in new roles gives me a fresh feeling of renewed sensibility” - admits the singer. Hibla will again conquer the audience by her unique voice, phenomenal artistic temperament and highest musical culture by embodying very different opera heroines from sweet and delicate to stern but endowed with a huge internal force.
