“Vladimir Spivakov Invites” Festival in Omsk and Perm

Vladimir Spivakov and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia will complete the 2022/2023 season touring Russia in line with its annual tradition. The first half of June will see the maestro and his collective giving day-by day concerts, most of which are part of  the festival “Vladimir Spivakov Invites...” in Omsk (June 1-4) and Perm (June 6-10). The tour will be part of the “All-Russia Philharmonic Seasons” project by the Moscow Philharmonic Society and the RF Ministry of Culture supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth Policy and Mass Communications of the Perm Krai and the Omsk Oblast Government. Read more...

Concerts of Vladimir Spivakov and the NPR in Uzbekistan

On April 28 and 30, 2023, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia will give concerts in Tashkent (on the stage of the Navoi Theater) and in Bukhara (at the Sadriddin Ayni Drama and Music Theater). The NPR will perform under the baton of its artistic director and principal conductor Vladimir Spivakov. The program features world-famed music masterpieces by Pyotr Tchaikovsky (Italian Capriccio and Ballet Suites), Aram Khachaturian (music to Lermontov's drama “Masquerade”) and Max Bruch (Violin Concerto No.1).

The Kola Peninsula Tour to the 20th Anniversary of the NPR

On April 18-21, 2023, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia will continue its performances in Russian regions with concerts on the Kola Peninsula. The four music nights will take place within the framework of the «Vladimir Spivakov Invites...» All-Russia Festival on the stages of the Murmansk Philharmonic Society, the Severomorsk «Stroitel» House of Culture and the Apatites V. Egorov Palace of Culture (for the first time). The tour is part of the All-Russia Philharmonic Seasons Project of the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture started in 2003 together with the Moscow Philharmonic Society. Best of Rachmaninoff: Piano Concertos

A Great Premiere!
Today, on Rachmaninoff’s birthday, the digital storefronts have released the first album by Vladimir Spivakov and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia from the «Best of Rachmaninoff» trilogy timed to the 150th anniversary of the great Russian composer.
The first collection includes all Rachmaninoff’s piano concertos recorded by the maestro and the NPR with pianist Alexander Romanovsky.
Moreover, the collection opens with a bonus track — the famous Vocalise, played by Vladimir Spivakov on a Stradivari violin.
