Having closed the concert season, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia is returning to the recording studio. From June 16th to June 22th, Vladimir Spivakov will record with his orchestra the First Symphony by Sergei Rachmaninoff and Requiem by Karl Jenkins, as well as complete the work on the album “Bel Canto Treasures and Rarities” with baritone Vasily Ladyuk. Records will be released under the Maestro's own label – Spivakov Sound.

The NPR continues its Russian touring
The Russian tour of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia is going on. Within a month, Vladimir Spivakov and his collective will perform in Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar and the towns of the Orenburg Region (see below). Anna Aglatova (soprano), a star of the Bolshoi Theatre, and Polina Shamaeva (mezzo), a soloist of the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre, will take part in the concerts of the tour. They will sing (with the Orchestra) arias from the operas by Rossini, Donizetti, Massenet, Bizet, Saint-Saens and popular masterpieces of Delibes, Jimenez and Lehar.
In the second part of the concerts, Vladimir Spivakov will present to the audience his interpretation of his most beloved works by Russian composers - Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances and suites from Tchaikovsky's ballets.
The NPR's Russian tours are held within the framework of the All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons Project of the Moscow Philharmonic Society and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The NPR and Vladimir Spivakov Will Perform in Tashkent
On the 26th of April the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia will appear in Tashkent: the concert will take place at the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”. The NPR will be led by its Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Vladimir Spivakov.
The night will be another clear evidence of the effective collaboration of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation: on the stage there will meet brilliant musicians, the soloists of top Moscow Opera Houses Anna Aglatova (soprano) and Vasily Ladyuk (baritone) and a special guest People's Artist of Uzbekistan Ramiz Usmanov (tenor).
