The Eugene Onegin opera recording on all world media platforms

The already much popular Eugene Onegin opera recording made by Vladimir Spivakov and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia will be on all world digital media platforms on February 25.

World famous singers, leading soloists of the best Russian and European theatres were invited to perform the main roles: Hibla Gerzmava (Tatiana), Vasily Ladyuk (Onegin), Dmitry Korchak (Lensky), Julia Mazurova (Olga), Ekaterina Morozova (Larina), Nikolai Didenko (Gremin) etc. The Academic Grand Choir "Masters of Choral Singing" under the direction of People's Artist of Russia Lev Kontorovich are also taking part in the recording.

One of the key figures in this series of recordings will be well-known German sound engineer and producer Philipp Nedel.

The album by Vladimir Spivakov and his collective has been highly appraised by Valentina Kholopova, Professor of the Moscow Conservatory, and Irina Ohalova, musicologist specializing in Tchaikovsky's works.
